Inevitably, I hate watching shows 1 episode a week, and really like watching shows that have finished, because I can watch it whenever and however I want.
I can read the reviews. Unfortunately, like Firefly, too many networks kill a show that has incredible potential, or they squeeze the ending into less episodes with less budget like Fringe, should have atleast had a complete 22,23 episode season.
Hopefully, they will commit themselves to Person of Interest til the end. This season threw the entire show to the I can't get enough of this show.
The dynamic between all of the main characters is perfect. This season threw the entire show to the wind and said 'let's rebuild from scratch' and now we get to see a lot of crazy things happening as the team tries to rebuild.
I haven't seen a single episode I didn't like, and the writers twist this show in a million different ways. Shaw is my favorite character, and the season starts with a lot of fun things happening with the different characters as they try to find their new place in the world.
They are struggling, but things are about to start getting shaken up in their war between the two computers.
If you love SCI that is believable and relevant, then this is the show for you. It's amazing. The series has gone another direction with it's original plot.
Although it touches with helping it is now all about surviving on carnal earth. What the series depicts in this season is happening today.
These things were predicted thousands of years ago and just as predicted There is so much liberal media about the world coming to an end but what is NEVER mentioned or even hinted is what about after we all die.
That's what people need to ask themselves. Where will I spend eternity after my life ends. Read John chapter Jesus said this for all of us It's coming I love the show, not because of the constant conflict between, brute force, and the futurism of "the machine", but also because of the subliminal subtext that, big brother is always watching, and that often times it doesn't just watch, but also takes steps to interact, so as to effect the outcome, in away that either a controller or the machines own AI deems is for the greater good, as it see's it.
But the problem is that even a perfect machine can be tainted by the wrong person having control over it and over the situation, and that also the machines own AI Artificial Intelligence , which allows the machine itself to grow and learn can be tainted, moving towards the day, when the machine will have the ability on it's own to decide that which is acceptable or unacceptable, by means of using all available assets, i:e,drones, camera's, air breathing and non air breathing platforms, etc.
In my own mind it is stupid to try to rate every single episode of a show, either one likes the show or doesn't. However as in any show that is on the air, some episodes are great, some are good, and some are for one reason or another mediocre, but the emphasis of this show is always, set on the future, and so the greatness of each episode is in the eye of the beholder, and that is the key isn't it.

Sadly I could not enjoy the show as much as hoped - this being one of those offerings with a frustratingly intrusive music track. In bonuses the creators proclaim how proud of it they are.
Admittedly it is great during action scenes, but a confounded annoyance when competing with dialogue - especially when so much is communicated in hushed voices.
Why have music at such times - especially when lead actor Jim Caviezel is so prone to husky utterances through a barely opened mouth?
So many other shows know well how to use music with restraint. I do wish "Person of Interest" were one of them. Bonuses include a Comic-Con Question and Answer session to pave the way for this new season, all concerned under strict instructions to give nothing away.
Ideally this should perhaps be on Disc 1. A preferable alternative could be a Disc 6 panel looking back on the season just completed.
In short? Much will please addicts, as fellow reviewers clearly indicate. Unnecessary obstacles prevent full enjoyment for those not wishing subtitles in order clearly to follow what is being said.
This should have been a 13 episode season, not It went on far too long - and the individual episodes about strangers one had never encountered before became distractions.
I was a fan of the earlier seasons, and the main story was great, very well thought out. But I'm afraid they lost me halfway through this season, when they kept drifting off the main story.
I ended up reading about the episodes on Wikipedia just to see if they were dealing with the main storyline or not, before deciding whether to watch them.
The makers of this programme appeared to think, we're on a good thing, let's make more of it. But they should have restricted themselves to 13 episodes, the norm with many other TV programmes.
And once they had introduced the main storyline and set that in motion, then they should have paid more attention to it, instead of the "irrelevant" episodes.
I won't even be finishing this blu-ray, and I definitely won't be buying season 5. Just an information that is lacking in the Amazon site: this series Dvd has subtitles in english, danish, finnish, norwegian and swedish.
There are no subtitles in french, spanish or italian. As I am not from an english speaking country I find very useful when informations about subtitles are available in the Amazon site.
Unfortunately that was not the case. So for future references I leave here something useful about the product. Nothing that I could say would be better than the reviews already published so I only will reiterate that this amazing series is one of the best series of the last 10 years!
Excellent series! I can't stop watching it once I started! Best drama I've seen. Excellent writing. That makes all the difference in the world and I love how they weave humor into the intense drama.

Harold Michael Emerson is so much stronger than any of us thought! Root, Fusco and Shaw are all amazing characters, and I couldn't wait to see what season five has in store for all of them!
